Firstly, Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in our own bodies!

Hyaluronic Acid can be herald as the “ultimate” in providing skin hydration as it can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water. Because of such healing and water-holding properties, Hyaluronic Acid serums are widely used for the treatment of burn victims. People who use cosmetic serums with this active ingredient claim to see their skin and fine lines “plump up” from the hydration.

To properly use our Hyaluronic Acid serums:

  1. Cleanse your face.
  2. Whilst your skin is damp, apply Baimeni’s Hydrating Eye & Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid.
  3. Follow with a good moisturiser.
If applying the Hyaluronic Acid in this manner still makes your skin feel a bit dry or taut, this means that your skin is dry and your moisturiser is not moisturising enough. We would suggest trying a face oil at night. This will allow the Hyaluronic Acid to pull moisture from the oil and into the top layer of your skin. Remember that Hyaluronic Acid can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water, so it is looking for moisture to cling on to. So it will pull it from your moisturiser, the air (humidity) or your skin. If you have oily skin, you might find that using our serum is perfect as it will absorb the excess oil on your skin, leaving your skin soft, smooth and matte.
For myself personally, I live in Melbourne where the humidity is very low. I also have very dry skin! Therefore, to keep my skin soft, smooth and glowing I cleanse, apply Baimeni’s Hydrating Eye & Face Serum with Hyaluronic Acid and follow with Baimeni’s Natural Essential Face Oil (both morning and night). I also use an SPF daily.
